Extremely refined flavours make this unique restaurant (and proprietor) more than a single visit affair. The sichuan pepper dry noodles was not too spicy to let you appreciate the light ‘numbing’ effect. Another star of the menu is the prawn oil rice (or noodles) which is soaked in what could be the best gravy I’ve had. Pair this with the delectable selection of teas and you’ve got an experience which would probably cost 3 times more at a downtown high end restaurant. The environment is extremely peaceful and takes you away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets. This is also partly due to the enforcement of ‘keep your voices down’ during the dining experience for the benefit of other patrons. So those with kids who want to experience this place will need to find a time where dining here is a date night rather than family outing. Just don’t forget to close the door.

Great noodles shop if you want a change from the usual Taiwanese fare! My palate actually prefers this mala flavor profile than the avg Taiwanese dish. The shrimp dry noodles has a very, very strong shrimp taste (in a good way). Min spending 150/pax

Super vibey and food was amazing. The spice and numbness of the noodles were perfect and the chicken soup had incredible depth of flavour. Highly recommend anyone to come by and try!! Easily one of the top foods I had in taiwan
