Da’an District, Taipei City｜Sude Vegetarian

A great place with delicious vegetarian dishes. There are many choices, and you can dine in or take out. The staff were very nice. I totally recommend this restaurant, delicious food, friendly staff and a very calm atmosphere and the price is affordable.

The dishes here are clearly marked if not vegan (i.e. if they contain dairy or egg) and most importantly all of the dishes taste really good. While many other vegetarian buffets don't taste bad either, here they use some herbs and spices which I did not find in other places. Also, the saltiness level is much lower than in many other places so eating it without rice is no problem whatsoever. Often I would walk out from a buffet place and immediately buy a big bottle of water because of too much salt- but here this did not happen, it all simply was very well seasoned. The staff is very nice and the atmosphere pretty cozy- also different from many other buffet places which tend to be busy and with a less than pleasant interior. What I also found positive is that some dishes are inspired by European cuisine (e.g. pumpkin gratin), so you can create a nice mix of different flavors of the word.
