Da’an District, Taipei City｜Sweet Cooking

Love this place, perfect cafe for people with dietary restrictions like sugar free and gluten free! Cakes also taste good!

As a foreigner with Celiacs Disease I was pleasantly surprised to find this shop while traveling in Taipei where gluten-free is not the easiest to come by. While with the language barrier I wasn’t appeal to read everything or confirm the dedicated gluten freeness I can say that I did not get even remotely sick. The food was tasty, but had the made with all almond flavor texture that not everyone is a fan of. I enjoyed that the available flavors were something a little different than what you’d typically find in a US Gluten-free bake shop. I also enjoyed that they weren’t overly sweet and the icing was light and fluffy. The inside decor is very cute as well and conveniently located not far from MRT.

I'm not a fan of sweets and deserts. But this one amazes me in a very positive way. Very satisfactory without having to take too much sugars and carbon. Tastes more sophisticated comparing to other keto deserts. Highly recommended tho a bit pricey. And best scone I've ever had.
