The staff were very nice. They recommend the popular dishes. Don't underestimate the taste of seasonal veg dish. That was so good. Not sure about the long lines. We visited at about 4 in the afternoon and there were no line. But when we finish there were some people waiting. So if you don't like to wait come for a early dinner or late lunch.

3 out of 10 most enjoyable eatery in Taipei. One of the best smoked goose restaurants in Taipei city. A Cheng also serves nice needles, Taiwanese style sausage & soup. Best to book a table, so there is no long wait for a table. Or turn up straight after they open, or arrive 30 minutes before they shut.

Amazing goose in Taipei! They serve both smoky and traditional flavours, so you can have a taste of both. Portions are not too big for being a half goose size (I finished it alone and wanted to order more), but the quality is top! I suggest to head there for lunch as more availability will be there rather than dinner
