Taiwanese family run restaurant with Japanese-style cuisine. The unagi don (grilled eel on rice) is the signature dish and very good. Chicken yakitori is also very tasty. Apparently phone bookings cannot be made (?) however quite a few groups arrived early to reserve a table on the night. Waiting time is around 30-45 mins ( we arrived just after 6.30pm on a Sunday night). Efficient service and reasonably priced. Two types of (bottled) beer on hand - Kirin and a Taiwanese beer. Most guests were drinking tea, so not really an izakaya atmosphere. Worthwhile for the unagi.

I can't get enough of this place!! The eel rice is worth the trip alone.. If you are lucky enough and visit during season ask for the cold spinach.

My favorite and unforgettable eels over rice ever!!!! The interior of this restaurant is not fancy and old, but the food is great! The fat of the eels would makes you fluttering, and even the simple food as Miso soup was impressively delicious! Btw, don’t miss the chicken Yakitori !!!! It’s super tasty as well!!
