Da’an District, Taipei City｜Witch House

Had lunch here and there were only like 2 other customers so pretty quiet. It felt cosy and unobtrusive. Food is a little more expensive than I expected but the portion is big and tastes good. They hold live music performances here on weekend evenings but I wasn't able to make time to go, sadly. Fembooks is just upstairs!

Magical place. Don’t get me wrong. It is not where you find Harry Potter. But a little cafe that turns into performance venue at night. A cradle for more indie musicians at their early time. $350 entrance fee/person, one drink included. Easy place to start a tour into Taiwan music.

We heard a lot about this famous music live house in Taipei, where many famous indie singers started here. Nice small place that is also a cafe during the day. We enjoyed the evening’s performance very much!
