Zhongshan District, Taipei City｜Shang’s Noodles

Amazing typical Taiwanese noodles restaurant. I tried 2 different plates, the noodles with the beef tendon and the noodles with the Wong Tong, both have been super. I will get back again, and I suggest anyone to try this.

Really great, clean, counter service place. Ran by a father and son/wife team(?) They were helpful and spoke a solid amount of English to tell us what was on the menu. Prices were fair and portions were great. NTD$200+ they had a white broth that was light but still had a meaty flavor. Friend got the dark broth which was heavier and filled her up. Noodles were soft and chewy. Meat had tendon and seemed like thick cut shank(?) That was perfectly cooked. Chef was kind and asked us our thought. We showed him our finished bowls.
