Da’an District, Taipei City｜富馨園麵食館

Fabulous, unassuming simple Chinese restaurant. Don’t expect glamour (or tablecloths), but you get an English language menu (seriously useful), well spoken a English and really lovely, warm service. You also get truly brilliantly executed, simple food. We had beef with dried beencurd, ‘fly head’ pork, and stir fried cabbage. The pork was a discovery - a huge mound of garlic chive stir fried with a bit of minced pork, some garlic and handful of black beans. Really fabulous. With a beer, the bill was AU$40. We were full (and happy).

All 4 dishes were excellent. Family owned restaurant with fast and great service :). 645ntd for the 4 dishes below. Didn’t try the sour soup because it’s not my interest but it looked good.

The service here is great the ladies are so sweet! She gave my mom and i traditional crackers as a little gift :) Food is solid!
