More Comments at Google MapThis was my far the best sushi I have ever experienced in my life. The clearly highly experienced chef provided us each dish with what it was and how to eat it. At least half of the items were seafood that I had not eaten before and it was all excellent and above expectations. The location is good and small enough for a very personal experience. The service by all staff was amazing. It is clear that he entire experience is orchestrated and all staff are well versed in the expectations of their service. I would rate this 10 stars if that was possible.
No doubt it was an amazing experience. I really enjoyed the omakase in this restaurant. You pay the meal in advance, so all you need to do is to be there on time and tell the front desk your name. The restaurant has a decent size, around 10-15 seats, which is just about right for a two chefs’ omakase restaurant. The ingredients are fresh and presented in a nice way, and not to mention the generous quantity of each dishes. I had a blast. It’s not too difficult to reserve as long as you plan a couple of weeks ahead. The only fly in the ointment is I wished the staff could be a bit more chatty. But I guess it makes sense as customers were in and out and started their meal at different times, which is different from all my previous omakase experiences - in which meals started when all customers arrived and were seated at the same time. In short, this is definitely a fabulous meal. I really like it and will revisit next time I’m in Taipei. Great work!
Upscale Japanese omakase sushi restaurant. The dining atmosphere was cozy. The only downside that night was the waitress was a bit careless in services. Other than that, the food was excellent. All the materials they've prepared was top notch ingredients. From the main ingredients like seafood to even the vinegar rice, soy sauce, and the nori (seaweed sheet) they used, everything is in perfect condition. You can tell they really put their heart and soul into the food they served. If I really have to say something about their food, that would be I felt the portion of the whole set meal was kind of too much for me. Maybe because of the price they charged or the custom in Taiwan....so that they have to serve this kind of big portion set menu for customer satisfaction. Overall, as a Michelin 1 star restaurant standard, the waitress services can be improved. Food is well prepared and outstanding. It would be better if they have a smaller portion menu.
