Songshan District, Taipei City｜Yellow Monday Coffee & Croffle

Passing by during the typhoon day, it was raining heavily outside. When I first into the store, the smell of the croffle hits me hard that I gotta orders one. Tried their latte with almond milk ( I usually have oat latte but because of the voucher I got gotta choose the oat milk one) it was good but I was expecting the coffee flavor could be a bit stronger. Maybe I’ll add another shot next time. As a huge matcha fan, I ordered the matcha croffle. Gotta say that it’s relatively huge compared to the other croffle store I’ve eaten in Taipei. Price wise was pretty reasonable. The croffle was so crispy ( it’s not mochi-like texture ones but I love their crispy tastes) Owner and staff was kind and nice. Seeing their store vision and color “yellow,” suddenly can brighten your day. It’s a nice “ shelter” place when you feel low or just want to hide from the reality, or hiding from the rain. Will be back try different flavor croffles :)

Bumped in this cute café attracted by the branding and the mesmerising croffles (croissants toasted in a waffle machine). And so glad I did. I’ve chosen an iced Osmanthus latte and a Matcha croffle at start. Ended up getting 2 more croffles. The owner Pei, is really kind and nice to talk to. Totally recommend. So bad there aren’t any places like these in London.

It’s a good place for a cup of coffee and waffles! They are highly efficient and I barely needed to wait after I ordered osmanthus latte. ( I think this might be one of the most popular flavored latte because many people ordered this one. Lol ) Their coffee is good and price is reasonable!I saw many people visited this coffee shop and had their coffee to go. 😉 I will definitely visit this coffee shop in the near future.
