More Comments at Google MapAuthentic American mall food. Had it delivered multiple times and have always been very happy with the portion, which I consider HUGE for the price. And the quality of ingredients is pretty decent as well. As commented by previous reviewers: This is not the place where you seek gourmet "good" food. This is where you get the genuine, authentic American MALL FOOD. And I'm mostly very very happy with the taste. The only complaint is that the cook's performance is kinda uneven and dishes sometimes get overcooked and taste too Taiwanese/ soggy, but the American grease is havenly nonetheless. Good place to get loaded with umami-heavy salty greasy food and sink/ relax into happy mall food coma. Thank you for having the courage to run a shop here that's so contrary to local popular trend & taste!!! It really makes me happy. :) To me, this was what my "teenage after school/ college weekends" tasted like. And that, is what good times tasted like. It's something Michelin stars can never beat.
kind of pricey but considering the absolute dearth of American-Chinese food, can't complain that much :/ EDIT: After reading the majority of the below 3 star comments, I am flabbergasted by the general stupidity of the populace. THIS IS AMERICAN CHINESE FOOD and if you're not used to it, don't comment about it being too oily, too salty, too expensive, etc. When was the last time you actually ate at a panda express? I found the prices commiserate with the prices back in the States, and ofc you should expect to pay more when this is LITERALLY the only place in Taipei that'll offer this kind of American-Chinese fare. Also, the fortune cookie thing complaint makes me LOL. You're aware they have to IMPORT these little treats, right? OFC they're going to charge for them, they aren't cheap here, when you factor in import fees, etc. I could go on and on about people complaining about box being soggy, no drinks, etc, etc, but honestly, I just hope this place manages to stay in business because the closest Panda Express to me is in Manila.
I really want this restaurant to work cuz I love American Chinese food. I also encourage you to go and try if you are curious about American Chinese food. But the orange chicken wasn't good. Chow mein was alright. As a fellow American that grew up on American Chinese food, I got some recommendations: 1. Orange chicken needs to be crisper, maybe battered and cooked more. Also smaller peices of boneless chicken would be nicer. 2. Fortune cookies included with Uber eats meals would be nice, they are always tossed in with everything in the USA and free. I'm not sure if there hard to get in taiwan or something. 3. Drinks with Uber eats would be nice. 4. Serving sizes are a little too small for price. I would not order here again, it was 180$ (uber) for a small thing of noodles and orange chicken, and I couldn't finish more than two bites of the orange chicken. The food tasted like what I could eat at a zizhucan. 6. If you wanna do American Chinese, you need to have crunchy fried egg rolls, egg drop soup, fried wonton. I really want the place to so well so I will leave 5 stars anyway. 加油
