Xinyi District, Taipei City｜盧記蔥油餅

This is one of my favorite street food places in this area. The owners are super nice and patient with someone who doesn't speak Chinese, conveniently they basically only sell one item (awesome flat bread) and the toppings are translated into English on the menu. Now the bread is reeeaaaally good, savory, gooey, somehow also fluffy, the sauce/topping makes it even more tasty. It's also nice that it's possible to order just a quarter of the bread (the "gooeyness" comes from liberal usage of oil after all, making the whole thing quite rich), while in other places the smallest portion is half the bread. Highly recommended to grab a bite if you happen to pass by, it's right in the corner of the crossing in front of Wuxing Street market and can easily be missed with so many things going on in that tiny space.
