Songshan District, Taipei City｜錦富日本料理

My first omakase experience in Taipei and this totally wows me! We had a choice of a 2500, 3000 or 3500 TWD menu and from what I know, this price hasn't changed since pre-covid and I applaud them for keeping prices reasonable. As it's an omakase experience, I wouldn't elaborate dish by dish but just say that for the 3500twd one, we had a total of 243dishes! That was the most value for money and full omakase dinner I ever had! Maybe it's Taiwan but still, the food were incredibly fresh. I love most the sashimi or raw dishes, but not so much some of the cooked ones though. Still, this is a definite 10/10! Not in terms of the food taste or quality, but a combination with value for money! Fyi... Booking can take more than 1 month and I have already made a reservation for my next trip here in May, 1.5mths away!

I LOVE IT! I would say one of the best Japanese in town and very reasonable Pricing! It doesn’t have any fancy decoration, looks like a normal isakaya place, but the food is amazing! Fresh! Delicious! And offering you different part of sushi that normally you don’t find it in other restaurant! The sushi chef was so funny and nice, explaining all the dishes and sharing sushi knowledge! One of the best dinner ever!!! Must must must try!
