Banqiao District, New Taipei City｜慈光緣素食

The food is so good that my family and I went there for the second time within days. The taste is very close to what we can expect in Singapore and Malaysia with wok hey taste. Will certainly come back when we come to Taipei!!!

Located close to the MRT station, makes transportation to this restaurant really convenient. The food here is great! Lots of different varieties that you can choose from. Rice and drinks are self service. For the rice, it is paid by head count with 20NT per person. The drink that is served is winter melon tea. I would suggest going with a group of friends so you can order a lot of different dishes and share.

Food were great, fresh with a lot of flavor. I came back twice in one week because I wanted to try more dishes. The tiny restaurant is very busy, therefore, don’t expect services. You are on your own, you stand in line to order your food, and help yourself in getting whatever you need. There will be a wait for your table or food. AC is minimal or NO AC, just fans, so try to sit outside by the door. The closer to the kitchen in back, the hotter it gets…almost unbearable hot!
