Because everyone in the family doesn't have much appetite, so I didn't consider the whole table of New Year's dishes. Instead, I ordered takeaway first on New Year's Eve, and reheated it on New Year's Eve. When I went to the store to order a la carte on the same day, the table was already full of items, recreating the nostalgic atmosphere of Nanmen Market. Even though he was so busy, the boss still took his time and took the trouble to prepare special dishes that suit my family's taste. I ordered three cups of Hericium erinaceus, braised lion's head, Kaiyang baby vegetables in soup, spicy stinky tofu, eight-treasure rice, and braised chestnuts that were added temporarily when I went to the store to pick up eight-treasure rice on New Year's Eve. I highly recommend the braised lion head, cabbage with Chinese cabbage in soup, spicy stinky tofu, braised chestnuts, and eight-treasure rice. The old restaurant in the original Nanmen Market has opened up a new location in the alley next to Zhongshan Junior High School in Banqiao. It has a wide range of a la carte dishes, and can also prepare mixed dishes and business lunches. During the holidays, it also provides New Year dishes. It is also a new choice for lunch and dinner for nearby office workers or students from the School of Science. It is a fully vegetarian cuisine, and some are vegetarian and lacto-ovo-vegetarian.
