Delicious citrus ramen! I first tried something similar at a different ramen shop in Taipei; awesome to have this new shop try it in Banqiao! All the flavors in the bowl are delicious and match well. The thin fruit slices give the rich broth a subtle citrus flavor, and the firm thin noodles hold up in the soup. Love that the broth was not too salty to drink to the last drop, too. The chicken slices were wonderfully tender, and the small yet thick cut piece of charsiu was definitely a worthy addition. I was also pleasantly surprised by the little meat balls, one of which had some crunchy bits (I think cartilage) in it along with some refreshing herb. And I love my ramen eggs; this shop's has a nice delicate flavor. The little spinach rolls although small are also tasty, sitting on a bed of light sesame sauce. Unfortunately this little store can't handle big groups with only 7 seats, but I hope the owners can expand one day to let more people appreciate their flavors. :) Having tried all three flavors by now, I think their lemon chicken stock ramen is the best. The miso one was pretty good and has an equally thick broth. It’s definitely unique in its own way, with almonds and a subtle banana flavor hidden inside (they recommend you take a first taste to experience without the 香蕉 flavor before mixing it to bring it out). That said the other two citrus flavors rank higher. Lastly the pork rice bowl is a nice add-on if you can eat that much. It includes a Japanese mayo reminiscent of what some sushi restaurants might add to e.g. a salmon roll or some such item. Fancy presentation with the puffed egg white and runny egg yolk, too.

Ordered the citrus-based ramen. I love that the soup is thick but at the same time, light, not too salty. The topping soft-boiled egg, chicken, pork chashu, meatballs also taste nice. The store is very small, with only 7 seats, so better arrive early or be prepared to wait (I waited for 1 hour on Friday evening FYI). The staff is friendly. Take cash only.
