Banqiao District, New Taipei City｜Wood Bistro 木餐酒館

Chill bistro in the alley of Banqiao, about 3-5 mins walk to the Shin-Pu MRT station. They are in soft openings right now. The food was great. I had the cold udon with seseame sauce, Japanese dobinmushi, "golden kimchi," and the fries with truffle sauce. I can't really pick a favorite since everything was so delicious, but the golden kimchi is a must. It's Taiwanese style kimchi with a strong garlic taste. The drinks were very well made as well. Some of their signatures were classic drinks with their own twist with Taiwanese elements. I definitely recommend their signature drinks. I ordered "Wood," "Guava Citrus Milk Foam Tea," and "Spicy Ruby" (These are my rough translation).They will have an English menu in future. There are only a few bistro with great food and great drinks in New Taipei City, especially in the Banqiao area. I highly recommend this place to anyone. The service and hospitality were exceptional, not to mention the tasty food and drinks. P.S. they have an indoor smoking area if you want to take a breather!

Wood Bistro stands out among bars. Located close to Xinpu MRT Station on the blue line, this incredible bar has a great and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are friendly, and the bartenders are creative.

I went to Wood Bistro Banciao for the first time this past Saturday 9/17 and had a wonderful time 😁. Their staff Alan, Eva and their bartender was kind and provided wonderful service with a smile 🤗 and excellent customer service throughout the night 👍. The drinks were made to perfection and their 2 desserts was delicious. The atmosphere setting was perfect and their choice of music playing throughout the night was awesome. I'm an American from the USA 🇺🇸 and Wood Bistro Banciao 🇹🇼 reminds me of some great restaurant bars in the USA. I'm looking forward to my next visit to Wood Bistro Banciao for drinks, dinner and desserts very soon. Thank you Wood Bistro Banciao for a first wonderful experience ❤️👍
