Banqiao District, New Taipei City｜老味噌居酒屋 板橋-江翠店

1st time here. Located at 板橋，文化路near Carrefour. Restaurant isn't too big. 7 tables for 4 (can squeeze up to 6 0er table) & 6 counter seats where you can see the chef BBQ the foo. Business is good, atmosphere is great. Give a feels like you're in Japan. Food is well marinated & tasty. Slight different to what you get in Japan but these are norms as it is definitely a need to adjust to local taste for the local population. Price slightly on the mid range but hey.... that's Izakaya (居酒屋) standards. Everything served in small quantity. Eat, unwind & most important, drink hot sake/beer & chat the night away with your friends. Overall, am giving it a 5 Star. Will be back again.

One of the better izakaya places I've tried. Everything was fresh and tasted very good. The salmon fried rice was tip top. Loved the fried chicken as well. Total price was around 1500 NTD. Highly recommended if you like Japanese izakaya.
