Shilin District, Taipei City｜Noodle Flat

I took the whole family including kids ages 6, 8, & 10 and we all rated Flat Noodle as a 5 star. The menu is simple both English and Chinese. We all had beef noodle soup. The Australian beef is very lean and almost melts in your mouth. If you prefer the chewy beef with tendons, you can find that on the menu too. The soup is light compared to most with a good balance--not too sweet, not too salty, & without the chilly oil that some Sichuan beef noodle soups have. The decoration is modern with comfortable seating while the pricing is about the same as a typical shop. I like it better than Ding Tai Feng!

Consistent food quality and clean dining environment. Highly recommended when you are nearby Tienmu Sogo.
