Shilin District, Taipei City｜Spice Shop Indian Cuisine Taipei (EST 2002)

Week night family dinner, food came quick, hot and packing all the proper flavors. I’ve been to the restaurant many times over years and I feel their food has gotten better and more authentic in the last few years. As my wife cannot handle spiciness I was very surprised that the food didn’t lack any flavors despite’s being “toned down” in the spicy department. Highly recommend the tikka prawns, butter chicken and lamb curry.

I think the flavors are phenomenal. The heat/spice levels are appropriate for each style of dish. The service is very attentive. In all, a great experience. I’ve tried many Indian restaurants in Taipei and would rate Spice Shop one of the best. The price is also higher. Check the menu and see if it’s acceptable to your budget.

A wonderfull dinner. A truly romantic atmosphere A first-class service. A really interesting choice of dishes. If I can give an advice it would be better to add photos of the dishes in online menù to help those like me who do not know the names of Indian dishes. I want to go back soon!
