More Comments at Google MapJapanese style Tantan ramen (tantan men). The noodles, egg, nikumiso, are all great. There are a lot of noodles, I might ask for less next time. The chashu is OK, but could be improved by searing it (or ideally, flame-grilling). The soup is very good, perfect spice and saltiness levels. You can taste the sesame, and it is not overwhelming. It is a great balance. I think the soup was based on a chicken stock, but I'm not certain. They sell a special black tea from the boss' home town. I enjoyed it and will order it again next time. I really appreciate the English menu, it is rare for ramen restaurants to have one!
I really think it's delicious, but I can't take a good photo (laughs) If you are looking for ramen that is not too salty, you can consider this place! (The store has an announcement stating that the soup here is made from pork and chicken bones + fresh vegetables) There is a collection event, it is quite easy to collect If it is a student nearby, it will be frequented
My favourite food spot in all of Dazhi!!!!! ***** Five Stars ***** A simple uncluttered menu that offers several types of ramen, all of which are delicious and prepared fresh in order. Chef assures me he doesn't use MSG or other additives and does his best to keep the food fresh and healthy. I love this spot not only because the food is great but also because the chef/owner is very welcoming and friendly. I sit at the bar in front of the kitchen and chat with him while he cooks and I eat... This is an experience I'm used to back home but very rarely find in Taiwan... An environment where the staff are not simply there to serve me in a "I hate my job" attitude, instead they are genuine people who are interesting, who care, who like their job and enjoy spinning a yarn with a stranger. Food is food regardless of where you go, but a pleasant environment and good people are hard to find!
