This is my 3rd time visiting with colleagues during lunch time. The first couple of times I didn't feel they were all that. This time I had the original beef noodle soup again and couple of sides, and I came back to revise my review to 5 stars. This is a historic place apparently and they supposed to serve the beef freshly butchered every morning, not previously frozen. Hence they don't braised the meat into soy sauce or other sauced based broth to emphasize that you can taste the freshness of the beef from their clear broth. It was good for me this time and I totally enjoyed it. However, the portion was small, perhaps too small. It was not enough for me without the sides. So if you are hungry just for the noodle soup, you might want to get two bowls instead. Go give them a try and enjoy.
