Neihu District, Taipei City｜Mrs. Liu's Tongguan Roujiamo

This place sells traditional snacks from the Shaanxi providence. Lamb soup, hand pulled noodles, and Rougamo (肉夾饃) - cured pork sandwich. We tried all three of their specialties, and they were all delicious. Personally, I was most impressed with the Rougamo. The soft white flat bread was baked to perfection, crusty on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The cured pork was ruddy in color, soft and mellow, made from different parts of pork, the ratio of fat to lean is 3.5:6.5. They do offer a leaner version of Rougamo which is a bit more chewy in texture. The lamb soup was very savory, a perfect complement for the Pork Sandwich. It’ll be perfect if they’d offer some refreshing side dishes, perhaps something vegetable based, to balance off the meal. I will most definitely revisit again.

Very delicious Asian style burger with crispy buns. The soup is excellent, even though I don’t prefer lamb but I was able to finish their lamb soup. Definitely will recommend to others!
