Excellent Japanese food in a very friendly setting. We booked the 2 hour slot between 6pm and 8pm and had the entire restaurant to ourselves (The restaurant seats 9 adults). The owner and chef explained how every dish was made, down to why he picked the ingredients and how different ingredients were paired to enhance flavor. Price was also great at under $40 per person. Definitely recommended, but make sure to make reservations early.

Food is great! Host is courteous. Seasonal seafood come into play in front of gourmet lovers. Small Japanese restaurant can host only a limited number of people and telephone reservation is a must. Come on time as all guests will be served and finish meal on schedule. A very great place to enjoy well prepared Japanese style seafood with wine. Compare to other similar no menu restaurant, this is relatively cheap but food is so delicious! When making telephone reservation, you can choose two options, either around 40 or 55 usd. I tried the more expensive one. Host/chief will also introduce a variety of wine to go with the food. Although there are 1 or 2 dishes that I don’t lie that much ( ie steam egg with curry sauce), I am satisfied after the 2 hour feast.

Lunch: $1,380 per person Seasonal fresh seafood & ingredients. Absolutely delicious & so filling! Wonderful sake to pair with the dishes. Call to make reservations early!
