Wanhua District, Taipei City｜Ximen Noodle

Lovely pork knuckle rice, that came with soft braised beancurd. Their homemade chilli is a must! It heightened the flavour but be cautious with the amount as it may be too spicy for some. Other recommended dishes: hot or cold sesame noodle, dumplings, braised pork rice with egg, are all so good. A must go place for some good local food.

Very homely and affordable place to eat, yet surprising delicious. Got our seat very fast. Esp the pig trotter (I order the noodle version). The signature soup was very healthy and delicious at same time. The braised pork rice was 👍. However the cold noodle is not my kind, they use peanut sauce if I am not wrong. But overall still awesome experience.

So yummy! I went by myself on a Friday night. It’s quite busy so they sat me with another couple at the same table. It’s not uncommon to share a small table with strangers in Taiwan. So be ready if you need to!
