I was really glad that we found this Mah-la hotpot store in Dihua street. I like how they decor the store. Very welcoming staffs and kind, quality foods, especially the soups! We tried 2 different kinds of soups, one of them is mah-la, one of them is Chinese Herbs, it tasted really good! And not like crazy spicy but warm and soft!

First time visiting and already fell in love with this place. Decor- vintage traditional Taiwanese style. A throwback memory of how I grew up as a kid. Service- polite, clear, and precise introduction to the rules of restaurant and how we should order as a first timer. Flavor- love the Sichuan flavor hotpot with 2 reasons. 1. Numbing on the tongue is really similar to authentic Sichuan flavor. ( most other places have much stronger hot pepper taste only) 2. Soup was really tasty with a touch of Chinese herb. ( not the MSG) food ingredients are fresh and high quality as well. The special minced pork rice is the traditional Taiwanese flavor with a touch of Sichuan pepper. Also good! Definitely will be a regular.

Excellent hotpot in a place that brings you back in time. A wonderful experience not to be missed!
