One of the best meals I had at 台北車站. Every so often, it’s nice to get away from how 熱鬧 Taiwan can be. This restaurant is a small peaceful oasis in a nexus of extremes. We ordered the business lunch, which is available on weekdays, and the mentaiko pork chop. Both came with rice, soup and a delicious endless salad of fresh, crisp slaw. The rice was perfectly cooked. Every grain was just right. The salad came with two dressing options, both delicious, though the yuzu, imho, was tastier. Every single item on the business lunch was yummy. I preferred it over the mentaiko pork chops, which was quite good. For the variety, quality and amount of food provided, and the brief tranquility, it was a good deal.

Sep 2023: the black pork Tonkatsu set is a must try. Very good pork, delicious and value for money. We topped up the set to make it a full meal and it came with a drink and a dessert.

The best pork cutlet I ever had! It’s so crispy and the breadcrumb and the meat was so tender and with the tonkatsu sauce on the side! I can’t get enough of it and the rice, salad and miso that you can keep on refill. By the way the rice is taiwan premium rice too! Worth the price and the environment is very nice too
