Zhongshan District, Taipei City｜吃心望享私房菜

Came here as a group of 6 on a Friday night. The restaurant has about 6 tables (6-8 seats each). Even though it was not filled to capacity the entire time we were there, the food still came out pretty slow as there is just one cook in the kitchen plus the owner who (maybe also cooks) brings the food out and rings up customers. That being said, literally every single dish that came out of that kitchen was a banger. The cuisine is a mix of home style Taiwanese and Chinese food. I probably had the best dish of broccoli in my life there. The food didn't necessarily look spectacular but wow was it a burst of flavor in each bite. I would absolutely come back and it's best to come in larger groups so you can try a variety of things. Also best to make a reservation AND order as far in advance as possible because they do take time to work their magic in that kitchen.
