Zhongshan District, Taipei City｜Xi Fu Yuan Vegetarian Pastries

Came here for coffee instead of the vegetarian pastries but the staff was as dedicated to giving us good drinks as well! Counter was also friendly and thoughtful! Coffee taste wise is delicious, I drank the Caramel Macchiato and boy it was delicious!

Great place for vegetarian and vegan pastries and sandwiches. You can get the sandwiches as a baguette, wrap (3 types), or a panini. The choices can include soy, fruits, vegetables, nuts, cheese, and egg. Although the staff doesn't speak much English, they are friendly and the menu has lots of pictures. It is also mostly in English. The location is right next to a temple and plenty buses pass by there.

Fresh Vegetables Burrito Roasted Mushrooms was outstanding. The combination of lettuce, mushrooms, nuts, fruit and vegetables was a symphony of flavors that was just perfect. Staff was very helpful, even with the lack of English. Lots of interesting food at this fine cafe.
