Best wonton soup in Taipei. No joke. If you are craving something yummy, go here. They are known for their soft tofu and bean noodles, but I go here for the wonton soup. The broth they serve with their little, flavorful wontons, is perfectly balanced in salt and aromas. Many wonton spots around here keep their broth plain, so you can customize it with soy sauce, chili and vinegar. This place is different. It is worth a bowl, get 2 if you are extra hungry. Closed by 3PM for a little, but they open again around 4PM again for dinner. I crave this soup when I visit Taiwan. They also serve pickled cucumbers and thick cut seaweed as accompaniments to your meal. Cash only. A bowl of wonton is 30 or 35NT. Their picked cucumbers are also the same price, best to skip that if you can because it is over priced. Go in the morning or before 3PM for the nice employees and to meet the boss of the place. At night, they have their younger generation working and they make you feel like you are intruding their space. You will get eyes rolled at, it's bad for their business as I can read from comments below. The morning people own the store and they are much more friendlier.

Cheap and delicious! There are really not many in Taipei... I hope I can eat it all the time
