Interesting place. The food is well made and fairly sophisticated with layered textures and flavors. For the corn chowder, they bring out a bowl with just the chunky soup contents and pour the creamy portion into the bowl at the table. Another novel approach: enclose the check inside a freshly made fortune cookie so you have to break the cookie in order to pay for the food.

I have gone back multiple times now, since that first visit and the service has been ON POINT! And the food has continued to be amazing, innovative and delicious. Having tried the brunch and the dinner menu, I think the dinner menu is definitely more interesting and unique. The red curry octopus is so damn good! I think Bottless is definitely one of the my favorite restaurants at the moment. ----------------------------------------- I had been trying to get a reservation for Friday night or the weekend for months and it was always fully booked. I finally decided to go on a Thursday night for dinner to see what the fuss was all about and I have to say, I can see now why they are always fully reserved. Everything we ordered was not only amazingly delicious (I was licking the sauce off my plate) but also very creative and unique. The potato pave was a definite highlight. The space is nice and so is the service. The original person who was serving us described the dishes and did a great job. The second person just dropped the items off on the table with no explanation. While this wasn't too problematic for most of the things we ordered it was very frustrating that she didn't tell us about the Japanese eggplant dish we ordered. It was topped with chips, there was a sauce beneath we couldn't even see and we couldn't really figure out what the ideal way to eat it would be.

Great service. Loved all the dishes we ordered, specially the seafood rice. We liked it so much that we ordered it twice. We also had prawns in cold soup, potatoes with chimichurri and feta cheese, beef tartare, s'mores puffs, and the beef sandwich. For drinks we had spagliato Negroni, mimosa, and sparkling oolong tea. The bill was given inside a fortune cookie. So creative!
