Da’an District, Taipei City｜Qian Ying Breakfast Restaurant

We loved our breakfast here. The laoban (boss/manager) was very attentive, patient, and helpful. Even though we could speak Mandarin, she could tell we’re foreigners so she made sure we knew exactly what we were ordering by pointing to pictures on google using her phone. You could tell she was used to helping foreigners order. The food was delicious and reasonably priced and there is a very local clientele as well. Great way to start our Taiwan journey!

Our first breakfast meal for the trip. A small place run by a couple who offers traditional Taiwanese breakfast. Their Dan bing is one of the better ones that's moist and fragrant.

I went by myself to have a dan bing and the lady was very nice even though my Chinese is not the best. We managed to understand each other and had the best breakfast I've had in Taiwan.
