If I could I would give this place a few more stars. The restaurant is very clean and peaceful, one block away from the busy street. The atmosphere is relaxing and the food very delicious and flavorful. I ordered the pasta with black pepper "steak". I probably like it more than real steak. If vegetarian food everywhere were this delicious, sign me up! Next time I'll visit with more people so we'll order many things off the menu.

Didn’t even notice it was a vegan restaurant until the friendly and kind owner stopped by to explain the story behind the dishes she served. The food is delicately flavored, using fresh and local (Taiwan) ingredients. Many of the dishes are mushroom based rather than the more common soy/tofu dishes. The texture and flavors of our dishes are all are different and delicious. Soups and stews are carefully prepared over many long hours to bring out the natural sweetness and umami from the herbs and ingredients. We ate a large and delicious meal but left fulfilled but very comfortable. We will be back.

Delicious Taiwan-style vegetarian food. The staff are all very nice and attentive. I come here regularly for lunch and can highly recommend the place.
