Beitou District, Taipei City｜酒米食堂 (北投店)

(600-800 but we got two drinks each and a lot of food) Found this cute place on google by chance tonight and very glad we did! The staff were very accommodating of our language barrier (they have an English menu you can order off of), and generally very attentive and nice. The food was DELICIOUS (you've absolutely got to get the chicken skewers), the salmon chazuke was also delightful and a much larger portion than anticipated. I also highly recommend pairing your meal with at least one guava sour chuhai; it was refreshing and really hit the spot after a long day in the heat by the hot springs ♨️!

Ingredients used for the dishes are very fresh and not overly seasoned to bring out the original taste of the food. Must try izakaya if you are in beitou. Highly recommend to drink hot sake with the food, great pairing! Staff are very reactive and friendly too!

Came to Beitou with my wife. This place is a must try if you ever choose to visit Beitou for their hot spring. This quaint little Izakaya joint serves quality japanese beer food that would test your alcohol tolerance. The staff are extremely prompt and alert. Food portion are reasonable. A great dining experience definitely.
