Chef Iacopo, the soul behind Frassi, is an embodiment of Italian culinary heritage. Born and raised in the bountiful region of Tuscany, Iacopo grew up relishing the region's natural offerings – game from the forests, produce from their family farmland, and catch from the sea. These early experiences deeply influenced his palate and culinary philosophy, forming the solid foundation of his gastronomic journey. His first solo venture, aptly named "Frassi" after his Italian surname, is a beautiful amalgamation of his past and present. Iacopo has been hands-on in planning and setting up the restaurant, bringing to life his childhood memories drawn from the earth. The backyard herb garden and baking section at the restaurant are a testament to this inspiration. The result? A delightful fusion of modern and classic Italian cuisine, which echoes the depth of his culinary journey. Each dish is a chapter of his story, a celebration of his roots, presented with contemporary flair. It's an enchanting gastronomic adventure that makes Frassi a deserving contender for a Michelin star.
