More Comments at Google MapThere is something special about your visit to this ramen shop. Unlike other restaurants where you are left to enjoy your food, at this shop you are in direct contact with the chef and his team at every stage of your meal. Also the team works in such a way that you feel your meal is a complex combination of excellent fresh food and masterful preparation. Even better is the fact that to go with the theatrics is genuine exceptionally delicious food. You can taste the care that the chef has put into his work and with one bite you can fully understand why customers line up for two hours everyday to visit this spot. I get why Taiwanese people love to line up for stuff.
A very popular ramen spot. I went on Saturday, by the time I arrived, which was half an hour before it opens, there were already over 10 ppl queuing. They don't have many seats but 8. I waited for 1 hour and 10 minutes to get a seat. Despite the long wait, the ramen didn't disappoint me. I ain't a big fan of soy broth, but theirs is really good. Chashu meats are also spot-on. The service is nice. They keep asking if the flavor or taste is alright. You could feel the passion of the chef and staff. Take cash only. The stall is outside of a mall, so don't forget to keep warm in winter. ♿ The place is an outdoor stall. The space of the seating area isn't spacious.
Ok while in line super hungry I was skeptical could it really be worth a 2 hour wait. Being a chef for 9 years usually places with huge lines are a bit overrated BUT YES YES YES IT WAS WORTH IT!!!! Tips: 1) It will be hard but go hungry portions are rich and filling. If your not use to very flavorful ramen choose the option farthest to the right. 2) Go maybe 45 mins before they open or earlier to hopefully minimize your wait time. 3) Be patient. If you can't read Chinese on the digital ordering system then choose the middle option on the ramen. The staff is so friendly inside and the chef speaks English. You can see them preparing everything right in front of you. The EGG!!!! It was perfectly cooked so creamy. Rich broth delicious noodles. Oh wait all the meat omg so fresh and a lot of it. Everything was 100% worth it!!!
