This has to be the best value-for-money bento I have had! The 卤肉饭 has so many side dishes in it and they are all yummy. The lard rice with egg is heavenly! But my top favourite is the pork liver. It’s so fresh and tender and inexpensive. By the way, the shop also earned themselves a spot under the Michelin Bib Gourmand.

We had all you can eat BBQ for lunch, so we just want to get something simple and low budget for dinner. We came across this cute little place selling the most simple and yet popular Taiwanese small eats. The place doesn’t have a whole lot of seating and was packed. So we got seated outside but it nice and breezy so we didn’t mind. The cook was very courteous and friendly. When our meal was served, I realized how wrong I was. The presentation was not your regular night market street vendor small eats. And the food was delicious. The taste and smell of the Braised pork was sophisticated. So Much better than Formosa Chang’s. And the Braised Pork Rice Set was only NT$70. Highly recommended!

About 400m from 水安宮 MRT Station。You will not muss it. Michelin recommended, Beef Noodle (牛肉麵) 👍 Braise Pork Rice (滷肉飯), you can choose between half fat half meat or mostly meat. However, i highly recommend to go for the half fat type coz it adds flavor to your rice. Comes sith free refillable red tea. Tried the Pork Rib rice (排骨飯)。 Simply lovely. Wonton Soup is topped with some pork oil (豬油) making the taste near perfect.... Overall damage, NT211.
