Highly recommended if you want to have authentic and affordable Taiwanese food. All the food items we ordered were delicious, especially the fried egg, chicken and top shell soup. We were pleasantly surprised on how fast they served even though we ordered many. Staff were friendly and prompt. Cozy environment for gathering. Very reasonable price too.

This is a local Taiwanese restaurant which is a hidden gem. The chicken is flavourful (we wondered where the source of their poultry is from - little fat and has those countryside tastes) and well presented. I recommend the big portion because the smaller amount (which we ordered came with too many bones - unless you are a bone person). The tofu on the hot iron plate is also very nice when served hot; mixed with their local sauce enhances the taste. I must recommend the pineapple drink (you seldom see me recommending drinks); it's incredible! - cooling and taste a bit sweet, excellent to have with your meal. Go by the jar, which is cheaper than a cup, and it's enough to be shared by 3-4 persons.

Upon seeing all the positive reviews online, I made the decision to try this restaurant. Remember to make a reservation before going because lunchtime can be very busy. Tried their fish, pork trotter, and many other dishes, including fried eggs. It was absolutely amazing. If you are near Taipei's Nanjing E road, do drop by and give it a try!
