Cantonese porridge from Dingji Porridge. This is the pinnacle of Taipei's porridge world! I've been going to this store for years. There are many people who order takeout. When I ate the piping hot "Cantonese porridge" at the table in front of the eaves, I was glad I had come all the way. There are many different types of porridge restaurants in Taipei, but I think this one has the best taste of the porridge itself. I'm satisfied with just one bowl of porridge. The bottom will be hot, so the trick is to scoop the top with a spoon when it's at a nice temperature. Wow, I want to go again. It's close to Taipei's Akihabara "Guanghua Market," the retro and new "Kashan Cultural and Creative District," and the family-friendly "Kashan Park," so it's a great place to bring it for lunch. The quiet old man and the kind old man's daughter are also likable.
