It is a small Sichuan diner, which specializes in spicy noodles, chicken and beef and other pickles or appetizers, such as shredded potato, black fungus, bitter melon. It is a rare Sichuan flavor diner in Taipei. It seems that the store is owned and managed by the mother and son who are friendly and accommodating toward customer's flavor or taste requests for spicy or non-spicy food. The waiting time at diner can be long at dinner time, especially when weather is cold.

This place is definitely a hidden gem. If you’re into spicy food then you have to check this place out. The Chongqing style noodles were great. The spicy oil chicken was amazing. The meat was very tender and full of spicy flavor. I’d go easy on the spice level unless you wanna challenge yourself. Overall probably one of the best restaurants that serves Chongqing cuisine in the Donghu area.
