If you're vegan visiting Jioufen, this is a perfect food spot!! The steak & rice - super delicious, the steak is very good (if it wasn't vegan restaurant I would double check it is not real meat). I ordered nr 4 - expecting a plate of noodles with some veg. I was very surprised when it arrived in a soup form. If you love the taste of home cooking, you have to have the soup! It's amazing! The wontonsnwere really good, but it's the pasta - noodles - that was the best part in the soup! You can taste that it was freshly made, the dough is delicious! It's such a shame that the restaurant is so far away from Taipei, otherwise I would eat here every day! Oh, and they have vegan deserts!

Very tasty vegan food with affordable prices and a super kind owner. A big plus in this restaurant is that they don't use throw away cutlery! Here you get metal spoons and reusable chopsticks. We also got a gift when we ate here the second time.

Super nice owners with delicious food. We had the vegetarian steak rice and it was really good. At first we weren‘t sure if the steak was actually meat because it tasted so much like beef, but the owner reassured us that it is 100% soybean. Big recommendation!
