Toucheng Township, Yilan County｜Eddie 纽约客 Pizza

Best pizza in Yilan, and one of the best in Taiwan! Some of the best pizza in Taiwan is made in a cozy B&B in Yilan! My wife and I visited Eddie’s pizzeria with a group of friends this week and left very impressed. It was a pleasant dining experience from start to finish. We were warmly greeted by proprietors Eddie and Sintty who were very hospitable throughout the evening. The dining room is on the first floor of the B&B with a large dining table that is perfect for small groups. The pizzas were outstanding and you could tell that Eddie put a lot of love into each pie. Style wise I would describe them as Napoli meets NYC. The crust had a nice chewiness and light char to it similar to Napoli but with a decent firmness and not floppy. The pizzas were served with attention to detail. For example, instead of just being served on a tray or plate, they were served on top of a cooling rack to ensure the pizzas don’t get too wet from steam condensation. We tried almost everything on the menu and a few items that weren’t even on the menu. There were classics like Margherita and also some very nice custom creations such as the Cherry Duck Pizza and the Italian Style Pork Sausage pizza. The sausage pizza was made in a delicious vodka penne sauce that was flavorful and one of my favorites of the evening along with the Taco pizza not on the menu. I highly recommend Eddie’s for anyone visiting the region or anyone that doesn’t mind a short drive for a special experience. We’ll definitely be back again soon!

We love going to Eddie’s pizza with our family! It feels like we are guests at their home and Eddie and his wife always make us feel welcome. Service and food quality is top notch. We love all their different kinds of pizza, including duck and sausage. Eddie has perfected his pizzas. They also have pasta and salads, and veggies and their homemade tiramisu. Everything is delicious. We brought our visiting family twice. As an added bonus they have 3 adorable dogs we play with. Our kids call the place “Pizza and Puppies”.

The restaurant is inside a b&b and has a cosy living room setting - with three dogs that greet you! Pizzas were excellent 👍🏻 We were served by Eddie and his wife, and they were so welcoming and made us feel like we were chatting with old friends over New York pizza 🍕
