Tamsui District, New Taipei City｜小甜心冰店

Stumbled into this restaurant as we were exploring Tamsui. It is operated by a senior couple. Initially, thought they were not friendly but it was completedly otherwise. The man was really friendly and patient with us in ordering. We were also assisted by an english speaking regular customer who walked us thru the entire menu! Our order of lu rou fan, sesame dandan noodles and meexian soup noodles were really good. We got some side of braised taufu and pig's ears which were ok. For desserts, it is recommended to go with the shaved ice. One can select up to 4 toppings for each order. We went for mulberry, strawberries, passion fruit and mango. Wad told that the mulberries are from the owner's farm hence completely organic. Highly recommended for some local food here as one explores Tamsui.
