Wanli District, New Taipei City｜米粉海灣

This wasn't a planned visit but I was glad to have discovered the quaint eatery while losing my way to the GuiHou harbour. The place looks like it was fashioned out of a 10-feet container parked right in front of a house. The squid vermicelli I ordered had 4-5 pieces of squids (too hungry to be able to count properly!), mushrooms that tasted like they were marinated for a bit in Chinese wine, some strands of obligatory greens, julienned ginger, and what I believed was chopped celery. The broth was midly and naturally sweet, and the squids were extremely fresh. Boss was also very welcoming and courteous. Would visit again if the opportunity arises!

Surprising find! Great soup vermicelli - perfect for breakfast. Would highly recommend.
