Big, fat wontons! The soup is clear with not much flavor, but you can add chopped chili soy sauce and vinegar to bring the flavors out. Wonton soup served with sliced thin egg, fresh leafy vegetables and seaweed. Located right on a corner in Old Town, this 3-story small restaurant has been around since the 1970’s. Stairs are super steep, so be careful. Not wheel chair accessible on the 2nd and 3rd floors but I am sure they will serve you on the 1st floor if you are in a wheelchair. The employees were SO friendly. They really cared about how our experience went. We were handed chopsticks and asked if we needed forks. Then the lady let me know when the bathroom was free to use after there had been a line from customers. Thank you!! Bathroom located on the 3rd floor. Great views below of the streets! Cash only. A bowl of Wonton costs 80NT and gets you full. They offer combination deals, so if you order chicken legs with wonton soup, you’ll save a couple NT than ordering them separate.

One of the best fruity shaved ice. Tasted really good with sweet osmanthus sugar, pineapple and litchis on it. If it closed, you can get it from Ye’s Wonton on the corner as well. Just 3 min walk from here. Ye’s Wonton: No. 177, Zhongzheng Road, Tamsui District, New Taipei City, 251
