What a surprise to find authentic Malaysian cuisine here in Yilan! The Char Kway Teow I had was as good as it gets, with succulent prawns and tasty flat rice noodles stir-fried in high heat with plenty of ‘wok hei’. The Assam Laksa was superb too, distinctively Penang and did not fail to impress. Chef Yang’s culinary skills are highly recommended and worth the advance order required to savour his faire. 5 stars!
