Luodong Township, Yilan County｜Uncle A-Zao Angelica Mutton Soup and Stinky Tofu

Queues can be long. But the stinky tofu is one of the best in the night market! Very good crisp accompanied with crunchy pickles. Will come back again to try the mutton items.

The good: MUST try the smelly tofu, the best I’ve had in Taiwan! It is crispy on the outside but so so soft on the inside. The texture is different from the usual smelly tofu you get in Taiwan. The lamb soup was good but not outstanding (still exceed expectations since it had more meat than expected for its price). Ru rou fan was good too. Super worth it for its price. The bad: Be ready to wait in line and share small tables with strangers. Also, it’s a night market stall so don’t expect it to be clean or fancy. The sa cha lamb was average, but cheap for its portion (had lots and lots of lamb).

First time experience to Luodong night market. Found this shop and we went in. Gosh delicious mutton soup and stinky tofu! The soup is not as heavy as you think, the taste is just right!
