Local and authentic Taiwanese food - must visit. The food is simple but excellent. The fish is a must have, you can even see them dry it themselves in the back! The pork is fantastic as well, so tender and flavourful. Note - it's a small restaurant and they don't take reservations. It's first come first serve, with doors opening at 11:30. I'd recommend coming before 11 to make sure you're in the first service, or you'll need to wait approx 1 hour till the first group of people finishes. Parking can be difficult, but if you're early there are a few spaces right next to the restaurant.

Every time I go to Jiufen, I will come here to taste the Yuyuan. The taste is not bad. When the roadside parking is less crowded, it is easy to park.
