Wow! The Baja fish tacos... Just wow. The execution on this dish was flawless. The batter was light and crispy, the portion generous, the slaw/aioli a perfect complement, and the price unbeatable. An order of fries and beer on the side and you have an OUTSTANDING lunch. World class. My goodness. I'm glad we're in town a few more days because I'm going back tomorrow! Beyond that dish: Tasty food, fast service. A great little find in the touristy hamlet of Yilan. The owner is friendly and sweet. Clean restaurant, not too fussy. I hope more people will try this place out! No really, though, what are you waiting for?? Go try them!!

Affordable, tasty and high CP value restaurant. Was a nice surprise in remote Yilan. I LOVE their blueberry waffles that are only 90 NTD which is amazing. I ask to have my blueberries in the batter so when they on the griddle you get melted blueberry bursts 🥰 They have real maple syrup for that waffle too (I asked for a side of it) as well which is awesome. Great outdoor seating, plenty of space. Lovely customer service from the Vietnamese lady. She was very warm and accomodating with requests. If you're looking for authentic food, the owner is from Mexico and prepares many of the dishes herself. I personally like lighter, less greasy food so I recommend their regular 4 piece you can choose chicken, pork or mushroom tacos and I also ordered their guacamole which comes with some tortilla chips. I like their chicken and mushroom most. The burrito had pork for 120ntd and was decent for one person size. We tried most of the items on the menu and those were my faves, personally I'm not a fan of fried fish or shrimp in general as those will be heavier on batter or grease (would be amazing if they had grilled version on menu) but each person will have a different opinion. All their dishes come paired with fresh tomato salsa which I like and you can upgrade to shredded fresh cheese for 40ntd. I liked her mayonnaise with fresh herbs that she paired on the fish salad bowl. but I forgot to take a pic of that before eating (sorry) so my pics are limited.

Cantina offers authentic Mexican food near the beach. Its is a great place to recharge after a surf and enjoy one of their premium coffees. I’ve been there a few times and I’ve never been disappointed.
