More Comments at Google MapMy laptop and I visit a lot of cafes, but for once, I didn’t bring my laptop to this one. As an author, I’m always looking for good places not only to eat and drink but to sit and write for hours. Well, this is not a cafe to write at, but it was worth visiting anyway! As a teacher, I believe in scoring according to various criteria. With that in mind, these are my opinions about this one. Food: **** Prices: **** (It would be a little expensive if we were just paying for food, but the prices include spending time with the cats!) Variety of Menu Options Available: **** English Menu? no Pleasant Environment/Comfortable to Write In: ***** (The cats make it pleasant, but don’t bother trying to write here!) Customer Service: ***** Hours: 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. daily Additional Comments: My husband and I enjoyed going to the cat cafe for dinner recently. Well, really, we went there to enjoy the company of ten contented kitties. It was fun to pet them and play with them while we waited for our food, and again after we ate. The cats had a great setup with lots of toys and places to climb and scratch and sleep. They were obviously well fed, since they didn't try very hard to steal our food. (Feeding them was against the rules, as was picking them up, scaring them, or bringing in outside food or pets.) It cost 300 NT to get into the cat area, but 100 of that could be applied toward our meal. Now we know where to come when we want to lower our blood pressure! Meow!
Clean and cozy space with 5 friendly cats at the time we visited. All the cats were well taken care of with super soft fur and friendly demeanors. There wasn't any noticeable cat smell in the Cafe either, likely owing to a combination of air purifiers and attentive staff cleaning. The food consisted of desserts, some savory foods, as well as coffee and tea. Be aware that the menu is entirely in Chinese though. The two attending staff were very friendly and clearly enjoyed working with the cats.
good place!
